William's Stir Fry Shiitakes

My son, William, loves to make fried rice. This dish incorporates his favorite flavors.



Makes enough for a side dish for 2


1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar

1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

1 1/2 teaspoon black bean garlic sauce

1 teaspoon neutral oil (grapeseed, peanut, canola)

5 oz shiitake mushrooms

Kosher salt


Combine soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, toasted sesame oil and black bean garlic sauce. Heat a wok or pan on high for 5 minutes. Add oil. When it smokes, add mushrooms and stir fry until browned. Season to taste with Kosher salt. Add all other ingredients and stir.
