For the salad:
I don’t bother to make the fancy croutons. I just toast bread heals which my kids won’t eat or old pieces of baguette and cut them up. I slice up a bunch of romaine and I also add half cherry tomatoes because Harry loves those. Today I also added sliced cucumber because I happened to have them. Definitely add lots of salt and pepper! I’m using Maldon salt here because you can really taste those large (larger than kosher salt) crystals in a salad.
