Blistered Shishito Peppers

This is the easiest and most delicious way to eat Shishito peppers.



Shishito peppers

Kosher Salt

Extra virgin olive oil, optional

Lemon juice, optional

Balsamic vinegar, optional


Wash and dry peppers.


Heat heavy - ideally cast iron - pan over high heat for 5 minutes. Add peppers and cook, tossing, until blistered.


Place peppers in a bowl and toss with Kosher salt while still hot. Sprinkle with extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice and/or balsamic vinegar, if desired.
